For example, the popular Mindelheim via ferrata crosses the border region between Austria and Germany at an altitude of 2,300 m. Suitable for athletic beginners who have via ferrata equipment, accuracy and a head for heights. The via ferrata is certainly one of the most exciting ridge hikes in the Alps. The route through the rugged primary dolomite reveals highly varied and impressive rock formations. When you cross it, there are four peaks - the three Schafalpköpfe and Kemptner Köpfle.
