HIKING

Simply choose from 185 km of natural signposted hiking trails. These extend over three heights between 1,086 and 2,533 m. The reward is pure idyll and stimulation of all senses! Cable cars and lifts help out when your legs need a break. A summer cable car ticket is included at Alpen Lodge Riezlern. Looking for a unique experience? Choose from a variety of hikes between Germany and Austria. 

MOUNTAIN CLIMBING

When it comes to via ferrata, Kleinwalsertal is at the top of the list. For example, the popular Mindelheim via ferrata crosses the border region between Austria and Germany at an altitude of 2,300 m. Suitable for athletic beginners who have via ferrata equipment, accuracy and a head for heights. The via ferrata is certainly one of the most exciting ridge hikes in the Alps. The route through the rugged primary dolomite reveals highly varied and impressive rock formations. When you cross it, there are four peaks - the three Schafalpköpfe and Kemptner Köpfle.

TRAIL RUNNING

Trail running is more than just running! Sport is a pure nature experience in Kleinwalsertal. Discover the most beautiful trail running routes and take time to enjoy. Energy-sapping climbs, fluid descents and breathtaking pleasure trails are waiting to be discovered amidst majestic peaks. Your trail running area consists of three different heights between 1,100 and 2,500 m! Looking for a challenge?
